Rick Carlisle is apparently an excellent problem solver that does not enjoy writing $25,000 checks. The Dallas Mavericks head coach appeared to have zero interest in writing another check following Game 4 of their playoff series with the Rockets therefore he found a remedy for the situation: Tape.
The veteran head coach elected to use a piece of tape to cover his mouth so he couldn’t say anything negative about the officials. It’s unclear if he once again vehemently disagreed with their calls in the Mavericks win on Sunday but it was definitely an amusing move:
