The NFL recently heard two proposals for a new stadium in the Los Angeles area, one in Carson that is backed by the Raiders and Chargers and one in Inglewood that is backed by the Rams.
As with most stadium proposals, the dueling pitches come complete with some nice bells and whistles. The Inglewood stadium would include a performing arts center, and some parks. The Carson stadium would include a 120 foot tower that fires lightning into the sky.
And while debate over which plan is better will certainly be a huge topic of conversation for the Los Angeles area, Rob Lowe couldn’t care less about whether the stadium has parks, towers or “gizmos.”
The actor took to Twitter on Friday to give his views on what is critical to have in an NFL stadium. He also took a swipe at 49ers fans, who apparently watch football in silence while drinking chardonnay.
#NFL Re: new LA stadium. I don't care about new age gizmos. Just make it LOUD. If I want white wine in peace, I can go to a #Niner game.

Lowe wants a stadium built for noise where he can freely bag on the 49ers? Someone please tell him that CenturyLink Field and the Seahawks already exist.
