During the bottom of the ninth inning of yesterday’s Rangers-Diamondbacks game, Diamondback fans were given something to cheer about towards the end of their team’s 7-1 loss.
A foul ball was hit into the crowd where one of the Diamondback faithful was able to catch the ball with his hat while he held his scorecard in the other hand. (A D-backs hat, shirt AND scorecard? Dude rocks.) While that drew cheers on its own, the man also passed the ball to a kid sitting directly behind him as well.
Great play, great class. What more could one ask for in this young MLB season?
