It’s been awhile since I’ve partaken in a rousing game of foosball, but if there’s one thing that could get me back in the ring, it’d be this awesome table designed by Ford (yeah, that Ford). The futuristic-looking table — inspired by open-air soccer stadiums — was recently on display at the Salone Del Mobile show in Milan, and features actual turf (artificial here, but, under ideal circumstance, real) that changes the complexity of the game. Even better: you can still enjoy a beer around this thing because it’s entirely enclosed (don’t ask me how to get the ball jarred loose if it’s stuck though), so spillage isn’t an issue.
Now, the bad news (because of course there’s bad news): it’s a one-off design and Ford has no plans for production.
