Russell Westbrook is doing everything in his power to get his Oklahoma Thunder in the playoffs, even if that includes chucking up 43 shots in a game. On Monday night, Westbrook led his Thunder team to a 101-90 must-win over the Trail Blazers to keep their playoff hopes alive and he then took his talents to the post-game interview.
During the interview Westbrook was asked if he was going to be a Spurs fan this Wednesday (the Spurs need to beat the Pelicans on Wednesday in order for the Thunder to have a a shot at making the playoffs), and he responded as only Russ can.
“I ain’t gotta root for nobody. I ain’t no Spurs fan. What type of question is that? You see my hat?”
It should be noted that the Thunder still need to win their final game against the Wolves to also make the playoffs.
