On Saturday, the Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors were playing each other when Shaun Livingston found himself guarding Dirk Nowitzki.
Not wanting to let Dirk get off an easy shot against him, Livingston reached for Dirk’s nether-regions instead.

While Dirk looked understandably upset about the literal low blow, the two apparently spoke afterwards and both played off the incident as harmless after the game (well, as harmless as a crotch grab can be).
Dirk on Shaun Livingston: "He's actually a really, really good dude, so I have to give him the benefit of the doubt."

S. Livingston: "11 years in, I haven’t had a dirty play. I haven’t made a name in this league by playing that way. It was just an accident."

On Monday, Dirk divulged a little more of his exchange with Livingston at a season ticket holders meeting at Six Flags. According to Dirk, Shaun was duly impressed with what he felt when he performed the uppercut between Dirk’s legs.

Dirk is the best.
