You don’t know Bo.
That statement is sadly all too true for Adam LaRoche’s young son, Drake, who needed a history lesson from Bo Jackson himself at a White Sox Spring Training practice this year. Jackson, who is currently acting as an instructor for the Sox in the preseason, had to explain to Drake who exactly he is – just the greatest two-sport athlete of our time – during a conversation on the field this week and, fortunately, there were microphones there to capture Bo imparting some knowledge to this young, sheltered soul.
In fairness to Drake, he’s way too young to have ever seen Jackson play but, still, being a family member of a White Sox player and not knowing who Bo Jackson is seems borderline criminal.
Thankfully, the Internet is here to help.
