Lewis Ferguson, an 18-year old amateur jockey from England, only has a handful of races under his belt and is still learning the ropes when it comes to a career in horse riding. He learned an important lesson this week, one that he should keep in the back of his mind for the rest of his riding days.
That lesson? Falling off your horse is a bad idea, especially in the middle of a jump.

That is one spectacular fall. Amazingly, Ferguson wasn’t seriously hurt – with the exception of his pride, obviously – and managed to walk away under his own power. Lucky.
