The UNC Tar Heels are headed to the Sweet 16 and it looks like Jordan Brand is pretty excited about it.
The brand issued an exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan XX9 to the college’s basketball team featuring a UNC’s Rameses logo that the team used between 1983 and 1998.
Turns out, being Michael Jordan’s alma mater has its perks. Who would have guessed?
UNC will wear the shoes for its game against Wisconsin on Thursday.
Part of me wants to root for UNC just to see if Jordan Brand has other designs in store for the Elite Eight or the Final Four.
