There is nothing wrong with passionate fans hinging on every free throw, loose ball and three-point heave, but it is tad concerning when that fan looks as if she might keel over if things don’t go well. During Notre Dame’s close win over 14th-seeded Northeastern on Thursday, the elderly woman was so wound up that a stiff wind could have knocked her over.
Although the enthusiasm is quite adorable and we can only assume she has long ties to the program, this woman might need a spotter in case the Irish make a nerve-wracking tourney run.
