Georgia State defeated Georgia Southern on Sunday for the Sun Belt title but the moment quickly turned from joyous to painful for head coach Ron Hunter.
During the team’s celebration of only the third NCAA Tournament berth in school history (1995 and 2001), the former IUPUI coach injured his leg or ankle at some point while dancing around the court. He was in obvious pain and could not even get off the floor without the help of his staff.
