On a night where John Wall could seemingly do anything that he wanted against the Memphis Grizzlies, this may have been the most impressive highlight of the evening.
Even an impossible finger roll has nothing on a point guard getting two blocks in one play. What’s even more impressive about Wall’s consecutive blocks is how quickly they occur (within a few seconds of each other) and how much ground Wall had to cover to get them.
The first block happens at the rim. The second happens at the damn three-point line.
In the immortal words of A$AP Rocky, quick ain’t fair.
