Many hockey folks love touting their sport as flop-free and it’s a very legitimate argument, except when Jesper Fast ruins it. The Rangers young winger was jawing with Casey Cizikas during his team’s 2-1 victory on Tuesday night when Cizikas proceeded to slide his stick into Fast’s leg.
What happened next horrified a lot of Islanders fans, as Fast flipped over like he’d been struck by that Russian youth soccer coach. And yes, the ref bought it and threw Cizikas in the box.
