As a part of their throwback celebration on Thursday, Arizona Coyotes goalie Mike Smith is wearing a special hockey mask that features the likeness of Alice Cooper on the back plate.
Artist David Arrigo designed the mask with Cooper in mind because Cooper is a “Rock Star, Arizona resident and Coyote fan.” Fittingly, Cooper made sure to show up at the Coyotes game and he got his picture taken with the goalie mask bearing his face.

Lined up side by side, it’s apparent that Arrigo really nailed Cooper’s likeness (minus the lack of makeup on the real Alice Cooper’s face). If nothing else, this confirms that Alice Cooper could still “scare the puck” out of anyone.
