Marvel has released its third trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
While the original plan was to debut the trailer during the series premiere of American Crime, Marvel decided to release it online after they were able to get enough Twitter fans to use the hashtag #AvengersAssemble.
There aren’t many surprises or new information to be found in the third trailer but we do get a brief shot of an Avenger who had yet to be formally introduced into the Marvel Movie-verse at the very end.
Paul Bettany’s Vision looks pretty legit everyone.
(Warning: Spoiler-ish comics stuff) In the comics, Vision is an android that is created by Ultron who becomes one of the Avengers. It remains to be seen how big a role Vision will play in the movie but Marvel undoubtedly has plans to include the hero in its overarching Avengers story line.
May 1st can’t come soon enough.
(Note: The seemingly shakey-cam of the trailer comes from Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube page so something likely went wrong in the upload process. Unless it’s supposed to be like that.)
