Henry Walker returned the NBA on Monday night as a member of the Miami Heat but many fans scratched their head wondering who Henry Walker was.
He was previously known as Bill Walker, the former Kansas State player who spent time with the Celtics and Knicks from 2008-2012 before leaving the league, rather unceremoniously. He would play in the NBADL and on a couple international teams before signing a 10-day contract with the Heat this week.
Prior to Monday night he had only appeared in 157 games over those four seasons and only once played in more than 35 contests. His return will not turn many heads, at least not as many as when he urinated into a towel with the Wildcats in 2007.
For those that forgot, Walker had to relieve himself during the middle of K-State’s non-conference home game against Oregon on November 29, 2007. Instead of wasting valuable minutes by running into the locker room, he elected to grab a couple towels and shove them down his pants.
Effective? Relatively. Aggressive and efficient? Very.
