There’s been quite a lot of hype surrounding the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, and for good reason. The Compton-based rap group – comprised of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy E, DJ Yella, and MC Ren – was one of the most important and influential performers in the history of the hip-hop genre.
The first trailer for the film has hit the Internet today, and the red-band preview gives us a great look at what we can expect from the movie when it hits theaters this August. The first thing you might notice is that whoever was in charge of casting the roles managed to find actors who look incredibly similar to their real-life counterparts, so props to them for that.
So, what do you guys think of the trailer? Are you excited? Let us know below.
