The Oklahoma City Thunder and Orlando Magic played a rather forgettable game Monday night, save for two things: 1) Russell Westbrook’s triple-double, and 2) the bizarre moment you see in the video above. Late in the first quarter, Reggie Jackson attempted a lay-up after splitting two defenders. Somehow, the ball ended up on the back of the rim and just stayed there a lot longer than a basketball normally should. Because the ball never stopped moving, the referees couldn’t whistle it dead, leaving the players on the floor to stare in disbelief as it rolled around the rim. Not so dumbfounded, though, was Thunder shooting guard Jeremy Lamb, who appeared to be positively delighted over the situation.
