Saturday night’s Dallas-Orlando game featured some vicious Maverick-on-Maverick crime, as Richard Jefferson — inadvertently — attempted to rearrange Rajon Rondo’s face. The blow snapped Rondo’s head back, resulting in an early end to his night. The Mavs ran out to a huge lead over the Magic, and appear to be on their way to a comfortable win, so Rondo’s presence likely won’t be missed for one game, at least. But it remains to be seen if this will turn into a multiple-game absence.
