Nike has now officially unveiled the gear that will be worn at Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona.
In contrast to the iconic team colors of the remaining squads, Nike has opted for a sleek silver with a warm, shimmering trim which Nike says was an attempt at “drawing inspiration from the shifting expression of the Arizona sky.”
The clears that players will wear are Nike Vapor Untouchable cleats.
And here are the gloves mock-ups which honestly don’t look too different from the gloves which Nike has produced for NFL teams so far:
The best looking piece may be one of the least flashy though. The Super Bowl edition Nike Tech Windrunner looks very clean. Nike says that these will be worn on the sidelines during the game.
You can see what other gear Nike designed for the Super Bowl here. As much as I want to say there’s no market for this stuff (who buys stuff that says “Super Bowl” without any team affiliation?), that Windrunner is awfully tempting.
