Mo Williams managed to single-handedly stop his team’s 15-game losing while also joining the list of most random 50-point scorers in NBA history. The 32-year-old journeyman is playing for his seventh team in 12 years since being selected in the 2nd round by the Jazz in 2003. Although 2013-14 marked the first year since his rookie campaign in which he failed to average 10-plus points per game and he’s averaged 17-plus points on three occasions, Williams is not known as an elite scorer with 50-point potential.
The 52-point game came as a shock to everyone in the NBA community as no one could have foreseen Mo Williams joining this list of the most random 50-point scorers in league history:
