San Francisco Giants No. 4 starter and former Cy Young winner, Barry Zito was hospitalized in LA yesterday after his car was hit at a West Hollywood intersection.
The damage to Zito’s car was major, but fortunately, the damage to Zito himself was not. He was released from the hospital after being checked out. Police have not released all of the details of the case, but apparently Barry was not at fault. The Giants open their season Thursday against the LA Dodgers and Zito was expected to start over the weekend.
