It’s not very often that a beer ad manages to hit you right in the feels, but Molson Canadian managed to pull it off with their latest. This ‘Hockey Heaven’ ad – part of the company’s “Anything For Hockey” campaign – will likely tug right on your heartstrings, as it features an emotional bonding experience between a father-son duo at a mountaintop hockey rink built by Molson in Canada.
Here’s to the ones who would do #AnythingForHockey. Seventeen years ago Andrei Lanochkin moved his family from Estonia to Canada to give his son Vitaly a chance to grow up playing hockey. Molson Canadian built a rink on top of the world to give Vitaly the chance to say thanks.
Not only is it a pretty great moment being captured, the ad itself is beautifully shot and edited together. Just some really great storytelling by Molson done here, so props to them. Very cool.
