That’s Stan Savran of ROOT Sports with one horrible swing and a miss during the first intermission of Saturday night’s Penguins-Blue Jackets game.
While talking about the Penguins’ ineffectiveness during the opening period, Savran attempted to make a joke (or something) about the throng of athletes who have shown support for Eric Garner by wearing ‘I Can’t Breathe’ t-shirts. It was in very poor taste and the reaction from his co-host, Jay Caufield, pretty much sums up how terrible it was.
Savran was forced to apologize shortly after, but it’ll be interesting to see if he’ll face any additional consequences as a result.
