Ice Ice Baby, is a pop music standard…(I refuse the call it hip hop or rap)…kinda like I like big butts…anyway, the man that was put on this earth to deliver us Ice, Ice Baby – Vanilla Ice is now becoming a pantomime. The 43 year old former rap artist, whose government name is Robert Matthew Van Winkle will be playing Captain Hook in a live theatrical production of Peter Pan in London. No lines, just body movements and facial expressions.
The theatre manager, Tony Hill, said this to the BBC:
“Ice is a huge name who I am sure will be a real draw for parents and children alike…He has never performed in a pantomime before, but I am sure he will go down as a hit.”
Since Vanilla Ice made that Ice Ice Baby money, he has been on a public mission to find himself. He’s got the death rock stuff he was doing, then the home remodeling show, now he’s a mime.
