Poor Devin Setoguchi thought he had his first goal this season during Tuesday’s game against the Nashville Predators but, alas, it was not meant to be. Nearly all of the puck crossed the goal line on this second period shot by Setoguchi, but Preds forward Derek Roy managed to sweep it out of the crease for the clearance prior to it fully crossing over the line.
Unfortunately for Setoguchi, ‘nearly’ doesn’t light the lamp.
That marks the second great goal line save by a skater in as many days. You’re getting off easy, goalies.
