The New York Jets will probably need to rely on the arm of Geno Smith (gulp) to carry them in the second half of Sunday’s match against the Denver Broncos. Not only does the team find itself down by a score of 17-7 but, well, Chris Johnson leads the Jets in rushing and he’s had two runs. FOR SEVEN YARDS.
What about Chris Ivory? Six rushing attempts for one yard.
All this means that the Jets will probably have to rely on Geno Smith to win a shootout with Peyton Manning. No biggie.
