A US shallow diver has broken his own stupid world record by swan-diving 36ft (11m) into a pool containing just 12in of water. Darren Taylor, also known as Professor Splash, dived into a pool of near-freezing water in Trondheim, Norway, making the jump his 13th Guinness record. “The real big trick with this dive,” Taylor told the BBC before the jump, “is to land flat and try and get as much water out of this pool as I can. I want to dissipate as much water for a cushion effect.” The video below is pretty incredible.
