The Jim Schwartz Era in Detroit was a constant stream of disappointment, ultimately ending in his firing at the end of the 2013 season. Schwartz now plies his trade as the defensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, and made his triumphant return to Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday. Helping the Bills’ cause was Lions kicker Alex Henery, who missed all three of his field goal attempts, including a potential 50-yard game-winner just seconds before Carpenter sent the Lions packing.
