There is certainly excitement in Washington, D.C. as the Nationals return to the MLB playoffs after a one-year hiatus. In an effort to drum up even more excitement, the team’s marketing crew is conducting a brilliant promotion in which fans can win tickets to Game 2 of the NLDS.
The team hid 100 Jayson Werth gnomes in and around the D.C. area, but not all 100 gnomes equal playoff tickets. The Nationals outfielder autographed only six of the figures, which represent the six opportunities to score tickets.
With decent seats well above $100 on StubHub, it presents a phenomenal opportunity for fans to see some playoff baseball. The game will be on FOX Sports 1 for those unable to hunt down a gnome or fork over the cash for tickets.
