Kansas City Royals outfielder Jarrod Dyson came up with a MASSIVE steal of third base with his team down by one run in the bottom of 9th during Tuesday’s A.L. Wild Card play-in game. Dyson got a great jump and swiped third base on A’s closer Sean Doolittle with one out in the inning. That crucial steal set up a sacrifice fly, which scored Dyson and sent the game into extra innings.
When you come up with a clutch play that large, you better have a celebration to match. Dyson did.
The Royals eventually came back from another one-run deficit and won the game in the 12th inning, sending them to the ALDS to face the Angels.
