Tom Brady was anemic in the Patriots’ blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, throwing for only 159 yards with 1 TD compared to 2 interceptions, good enough for a sub-60 QB rating.
The veteran was replaced in the 4th quarter by rookie Jimmy Garoppolo and although many wondered if Brady was actually benched as opposed to eliminating the possibility of injury, it was clearly the latter. With the dud performance, he is on pace for his worst year since 2001, his first full season in the NFL.
As a few begin to question Brady’s ability to lead the Patriots back to the promised land, one reporter had the cojones to ask Bill Belichick if he will consider making a change at QB, a question that the man of few words had no time for:
