Following the September 11th attacks 13 years ago today, many things in life seemed menial and irrelevant. Upon shooting his first show since the attacks, David Letterman was fully aware of these feelings and provided a simple, yet perfect on-air tribute to the victims and heroes of that day and the days that followed.
