This is a simple, yet outstanding video starring several Arsenal players – including Theo Walcott, Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Olivier Giroud – who are getting proactive in kicking homophobia out of soccer.
In the video, the Arsenal stars show off their light-hearted sides and shine light on things they can’t change about themselves (poor Giroud) in a humorous fashion. The players have teamed up with Stonewall – a gay, lesbian and bisexual rights charity in the UK – to promote a campaign that will involve players across the UK wearing rainbow shoelaces to show support for the LGBT community.
