UTSA punter Kristian Stern made an excellent play against Arizona when he pinned his opponents down at their own three yard line. Stern then proceeded to do the Bernie because when you’re a punter, your opportunities to shine are few and far between.
As impressive as a perfect punt is (it’s one of the most underrated plays in all of football), there are few things quite like seeing a punter getting down to an awesome play that he just made. It ranks among football’s greatest joys, right up there with linemen scoring touchdowns and watching quarterbacks half-heartedly trying to tackle after a pick.
