The Primetime Emmys are tonight, and because it’s NBC’s turn this year to broadcast the show, the network decided to move it up roughly one month and to a Monday night due to a conflict with its precious Sunday Night Football. Because of the switch, just getting to the ceremony was predicted to be a borderline disaster because, well, driving in Los Angeles is almost never not a disaster. Especially at 5 pm on a Monday in downtown Los Angeles (the ceremony is held at the Nokia Theater). Leave it to Jimmy Kimmel and his wife Molly to combat “Limo-geddon” in a very un-LA way, by hopping on the subway, which stops a stone’s throw from L.A. Live.
