His Airness himself was in attendance this evening to watch the Bulls beat up on his Bobcats 101-84. Like everyone else, MJ watched D. Rose do D. Rose, dropping 20 point in the victory. After the game, Jordan declared Rose the MVP of the NBA season.
“MVP of the season. He deserves it. He’s playing that well. He deserves it. Without a doubt. And if he doesn’t get it, now he’ll see how I felt a lot of years.”
Rose was obviously thrilled to be co-signed by the G.O.A.T.
“That’s huge, man….When the person that you’re playing behind, all you hear about is Mike, especially in Chicago, look up to him. For him to say that, it’s unbelievable. It’s an honor and I’m speechless right now.”
