In a tie game in the seventh inning, Ian Kinsler caught a soft liner and had a chance to turn a double play. After catching the ball, he attempted to do that. It didn’t work out too well.
The Tigers are actually fortunate Kinsler’s throw was so bad that it went straight down, as the runner couldn’t advance to third base. And, luckily for Kinsler, that meant he wasn’t charged with an error on the play.
