Emmanuel Sanders hopped from Pittsburgh to Denver this offseason, leaving Big Ben and the Steelers for another veteran QB in Peyton Manning.
All was quiet from Sanders until an interview with 104.3 in Denver on Monday during which he was asked about the difference between Roethlisberger and Manning.
I feel like Peyton is a far better leader, in terms of staying after practice, catching balls, wanting guys to get on the same page with him, things of that sort.
Shots fired? Apparently, if you ask his former teammate Antonio Brown, who responded to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review with the following comments:
That was terrible. You don’t throw the quarterback under the bus, the guy who makes you what you are.
Let the official beef commence. Sanders quickly realized he stirred up a very unnecessary training camp controversy and took to Twitter to clear up his opinion of Big Ben:
I never said Ben wasn’t a leader… I just said Peyton is a better one. I have nothing but respect for Ben as a man and as a player. #truth

The best part? #truth. Sanders wasn’t done though, responding to a fan’s comment about the situation:
“@DatDudeCP what do you think of what Antonio brown said?” They throw dirt on my name-that means they still dig me. @LilTunechi

Unfortunately the two teams will not meet in the preseason or regular season in 2014 and the two wide receivers could only meet in a playoff matchup, which could be fun.
