The Courier-Post is a morning daily newspaper that serves South Jersey near Philly, meaning they frequently cover the 76ers. As such, you’d think they would be able to identify a photo of Joel Embiid, who the team drafted at third overall back in June, for publication of a recent issue. Also, you would like to think they could spell his name correctly.
But instead, nope. Not only did they use a photo of Nerlens Noel for said article, they also identified him as “Joel Imbiid.”
The photo was provided, but the fact-checking was not.
