It would seemed to the untrained (and trained) eye, that Bryce Harper’s rehab progress is on track. The latest bit of evidence we have is Bryce hitting three home runs and finishing the day going 4-5 with 3 HR and 5 RBI’s during a game this Saturday. The game should be his last rehab game and he should be returning to the Nationals lineup on Monday, barring any setbacks. During his five game rehab stint for Class AA Harrisburg in Akron, Harper has gone 5 for 9 with six RBIs.
Harper’s return will be a welcome site for the Nationals as he has missed a total of 57 games following surgery on a torn ligament in his left thumb.
