Things could have gotten pretty awkward in the Agassi/Graf househould with today’s USA-Germany World Cup match in Brazil. Andre Agassi is one of the best American players in tennis history, and his wife, Steffi Graf, is the best tennis player to ever come out of Germany. It was a house divided as the USMNT took on the Germans in a final, crucial group stage match on Thursday afternoon.
But, alas, things worked out extremely well for both sides. The United States lost 1-0 to Germany but still managed to advance through the ‘Group of Death’ thanks to a 2-1 win by Portugal.
