After recently shooting an episode of ‘Louie’ that featured the comedian awkwardly bombing an appearance at a Jerry Seinfeld-hosted black-tie benefit in the Hamptons, it appears that Louie wants to stick around.
The comedian just purchased Primrose Cottage, a summer home on the water in the Hamptons that used to be owned by Babe Ruth, for a mere $2.49 million. As you can probably imagine, the whole “cottage” tag is a bit misleading.
From the NY Post:
It’s a beach house that Babe Ruth once summered at. The home is known as Primrose Cottage, our spies say. The three-story Tudor-style home, built in 1901, is 4,957 square feet. It comes with six bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms and five fireplaces. It’s on 2 acres, with plenty of room for tennis courts and a pool.
Louie reportedly plans on renovating the old house, and it certainly looks like it could use some sprucing up.
