As is tradition in Hockeytown, Tuesday’s Game 3 of the Bruins-Red Wings series in Detroit featured several octopi being thrown on the ice during the National Anthem. The target of the octopus throwers seemed to be Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask, and they nearly had a direct hit.
Tuukka, clearly in the zone, didn’t seem to be fazed. He proceeded to post a shutout in Game 3.
