It has been a year since the horrible events of the Boston Marathon bombings and Rajon Rondo is keeping the memory alive of the people lost and those traumatically affected by the travesty. On Wednesday night in the final Celtics game of the season Rondo paid homage to the people of Boston. Despite being sidelined for the finale with a strained hamstring the Boston guard still wore his Anta sneakers with a “Boston Strong” emblem, the number “41513,” representing the date (April 15, 2013) of the tragedy, as well as the initials of every victim of the attack. Rondo plans to donate the sneakers after the game to the One Fund, a charitable organization that supports those whose lives have been devastated by the tragedy. Just a fantastic job by Rondo here.
