As you can expect, most UConn students are pretty excited for tonight’s NCAA Championship game against the Huskies and the Kentucky Wildcats. However, Derek the Resident Assistant at a hall on UConn’s North campus is not one of those students.
Derek sent this email to his peers planning to watch the game tonight (presumably everyone) to warn them that they should go elsewhere to do so because he doesn’t feel like “cheering for laundry.” With that logic, I would say that Derek is neither a big fan of sports or school spirit.
I’m sure Derek’s hallmates are going to be pretty pissed at this email, but at least the R.A. did them a solid by warning them that he’s super lame. With that being said…live a little, Derek.
