Despite both the NYPD and the NYFD unparalleled commitment towards keeping New York City safe, the two organizations do have a bit of a rivalry between them. They put their differences aside on Sunday to play a charity hockey game at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. However that didn’t last very long and with the score knotted up at 3-3 a brouhaha erupted and benches were emptied. New York’s Finest and New York Bravest exchanged blows. In the end it was the New York Police Department who were the victors by a score of 8-5.
