What I’m about to say probably qualifies me as some sort of Elite Level Hater, but you’ll have to pardon me for not getting as excited as the rest of the basketball world over this Kevin Durant crossover. Yeah, he puts the Nuggets’ Darrell Arthur on skates — twice — but not enough to shake him entirely. And Durant ultimately fires up a contested off-balance shot that goes in for the “and-1” opportunity (because he’s Kevin Durant, and that’s what he does, no matter the angle). But Arthur deserves some props for his stick-to-it-iveness and still managing to play some semblance of defense — even if the play resulted in a foul. Also, in defense of Arthur’s defense, nobody else can really guard KD these days anyway.
