The Vancouver Canucks seem determined to trade anyone who shows any potential in between the pipes lately, so Kevin Bieksa should probably start packing his bags after what he pulled off yesterday.
The Vancouver defenseman made an awesome kick save right in front of the goal line to stop a puck in mid-air and prevent a sure goal for the Panthers halfway through the third period during yesterday’s matinee in Sunrise, FL. The save helped the Canucks to cling on to a one-goal lead, which they eventually surrendered to the Panthers before winning in a shootout.
