The game was tied at 47 between Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart (Mich.) and Fulton-Middleton when things turned amazing. With time running out Neyer heaved an off-balance prayer from 25-feet out. His prayers were answered when the ball finally trickled into the net and gave Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart an unimaginable 50-47 as well as the Class D regional title over.
